TPT tec-pro-time time Software for the automatic
generation of CNC programmes for JEL thread milling tools.
In contrast to the production of a thread using a tap, the circular thread milling process calls for a simultaneous 3-axis control CNC machine.
JEL TPT Software automatically generates the CNC programme for JEL thread milling tools including the technology data.

TPT requires operating systems Windows NT or Windows 2000.
The program is very user-friendly.

Starting from each task, the user chooses the mask on the screen: "machining task - definition".

With the help of this entrance window he describes the machining task which should be produced by the CNC programme, e.g. the production of a metric thread M10 with the thread length 20mm.

Size and depth of the thread have to be indicated and whether the central drill should be made with the same tool and on what material you work on.

After confirming the technology data, the programme provides all JEL tools from the data bank suitable for the working task and lists them on the screen.

The user can now choose between various tools and coatings.

For every listed tool, you will find recommended cutting data and the required machining time on the screen.
 

At the same time, the CNC programme is generated in the background by the TPT program.
After generating the CNC programme, the user can either print out or store it as an ASCII-file.

JEL TPT supports machine controls like Fanuc, Heidenhain, Sinumerik und Uni-Pro.

TPT allows a comfortable adaptation of CNC programmes to the possibilities and requirements of the user, e.g. rotation and feed rate, conventional or climb milling, right- or left-handed threads, radial and/or axial cutting division and chip removal for drill and thread milling.
